Marie Scotto is the co-founder of abvius, an integrated management platform designed specifically for NGOs and international solidarity organizations. abvius brings together in a single tool the essential functions of an organization's operations: financial management, operational steering, and MEAL tracking (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning).
Before co-founding abvius, Marie worked for four years in the international solidarity sector, both at headquarters and in the field: Program Assistant at Solidarités International in Paris, then Project Development Officer at ACTED. She knows first-hand project development, donor reporting cycles and multi-site coordination — direct experience that shaped the design of abvius and continues to guide every evolution.
She is currently Partnerships Coordinator at the Access Center for Human Rights (ACHR) and a freelance consultant for NGOs and civil society organizations, specializing in project development, partnerships and fundraising strategies.
Together with Lydia Mallet, her co-founder, Marie chose to build abvius as a Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) company: a model driven not by profit maximization, but by creating value for the solidarity sector.
