Lydia Mallet is the co-founder of abvius, an integrated management platform designed specifically for NGOs and international solidarity organizations. abvius brings together in a single tool the essential functions of an organization's operations: financial management, operational steering, and MEAL tracking (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning).
Before founding abvius, Lydia worked for 4 years in NGOs, both in the field and at headquarters, as a full-stack developer. She knows first-hand the field constraints, donor reporting cycles and multi-site coordination challenges — direct experience that shaped the design of abvius and continues to guide every evolution.
She is also a permanent consultant at the Coordination Humanitaire et Développement (CHD), one of the leading coalitions of international solidarity NGOs in France. The CHD brings together organizations carrying out emergency humanitarian, reconstruction and development projects around the world, supports them and represents them with private and public partners.
Together with Marie Scotto, her co-founder, Lydia chose to build abvius as a Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) company: a model driven not by profit maximization, but by creating value for the solidarity sector.
